Union Shipping Ministry has appointed M Palanimuthu as the Legal Adviser to the Chennai Port Trust. According to an official release, Palanimuthu has been empanelled by the port trust for 2014-2016 as per the recommendation of Union Minister for Road Transports, Highway and Shipping Nitin Gadkari and Union Consumer Affairs Minister Ramvilas Paswan.
