The container handling at the New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) has witnessed 18.45 per cent growth till November 14 in the present financial year. Reports suggest that the port handled 30,454 TEUs of containers till November 14 of 2011-12 as compared to 25,709 TEUs in the same period under review of the previous fiscal.
