Through this strategic partnership, NIA aims to hardwires resilience and cybersecurity into its operations from the ground up.
Addressing a critical dimension of airport security, India’s upcoming mega‑airport has signed a landmark agreement to fortify its network and cybersecurity operations. Noida International Airport (NIA) announced a partnership with Tech Mahindra, the Pune‑headquartered global technology consulting and digital solutions provider, to establish and operate an integrated Network and Security Operations Centre (NOC‑SOC) for the airport.
Through this strategic collaboration, NIA aims to embed a secure, resilient, and future‑ready technology ecosystem into its operations from inception.
Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, NIA, said, “As a greenfield airport, we have the unique opportunity to embed resilience, security, and operational excellence into our digital ecosystem from day one. Our partnership with Tech Mahindra is a critical step in building a robust, future‑ready network and cybersecurity framework that supports safe, reliable, and seamless airport operations. This collaboration reflects our commitment to global best practices and ensures that technology and digital trust remain foundational as we move towards operational readiness.”
Sahil Dhawan, President & Head for India, Middle East and Africa Business, Tech Mahindra, added, “Airports today are complex digital ecosystems where network resilience and cybersecurity are as critical as physical infrastructure. Our partnership with Noida International Airport reflects a shared vision to embed security, reliability, and operational excellence into the airport’s technology foundation. Through the integrated NOC‑SOC, we will deliver round‑the‑clock monitoring, proactive threat detection, and rapid incident response across the airport’s critical IT and digital platforms.”
Tech Mahindra will deliver round‑the‑clock monitoring and management of network security across the airport’s critical IT infrastructure, spanning applications, databases, networks, servers, storage systems, and digital platforms. The integrated NOC‑SOC will enable proactive detection, analysis, and rapid response to cyber threats, ensuring high availability, operational continuity, and a strong security posture across airport systems.
With cybersecurity positioned at the core of airport operations, Tech Mahindra will work with NIA to build a robust, process‑oriented ecosystem that ensures the airport is supported by a reliable, secure, and scalable technology framework from day one.
