The second day of imported re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) auction saw gas-based power plants, with a combined capacity of 3,401 MW, share 1.1 mmscmd of available gas to run these capacities at the 35 per cent PLF. Out of the five bids, two came from NTPC, one from Gujarat-owned GSC and the other two from the private sector. The government had made 10 mmscmd of gas available for bidding.
