NTPC has announced that its commercial capacity has increased to 46,178 MW after its subsidiary´s 250 MW unit became commercially operational at Nabinagar in Bihar. ´The 1st unit of 250 MW of Nabinagar thermal power project of Bhartiya Rail Bijlee Company Ltd (BRBCL), a subsidiary of NTPC, (4×250 MW) declared commercial operation from 00:00 hours of January 15, 2017,´NTPC said in a statement.
