Orissa clears Rs 70 cr logistics park project

Orissa’s State level single window clearance authority has approved the setting up of a logistics park at Kalinga Nagar steel hub proposed by Container Corporation of India (CONCOR).The logistics park would come up on an area of 30 acres in the industrial cluster at an investment of Rs 70 crore.The project is expected to be commissioned within three years of acquisition of land.The logistics park is set to offer multi modal transport solutions for existing and upcoming steel industries in the cluster.The facilities include two full length railway lines, paved surface for handling containers, warehousing for domestic and export cargo, bulk and break-bulk facility, and equipment.
