Central Electricity Supply Utility of Orissa (Cesu), Northern Electricity Supply Company of Orissa (Nesco), Southern Electricity Supply Company of Orissa (Southo) and Western Electricity Supply Company of Orissa (Wesco) have together invested Rs 1,425.58 crore on capital expenditure since the privatisation of electricity distribution in the state. Respectively, Cesu, Nesco, Wesco and Southco have incurred a capital expenditure of Rs 515.73 crore, Rs 394.80 crore, Rs 304.19 crore and Rs 201.86 crore.
