The airport terminal at Ozar, about 20 km from Nashik, is scheduled to be ready by the end of March. The state government and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) are jointly upgrading the airport at a cost of Rs 80 crore. The airport has capacity to handle 300 passengers at a time and around six planes can be landed there. The building will be totally air-conditioned and will have all facilities and amenities as per the global norms.
