Devansh Jain is the Director of INOX Wind. In his current role, Devansh is responsible for piloting the company towards its goal of becoming the best fully integrated wind energy player in India. He strongly follows his group philosophy of conservative aggression. Being extremely aggressive in business but at the same time being conservative with respect to risks and consolidating at the appropriate time and then moving aggressively again with an efficient approach.
Giving a remarkable course to the wind energy sector in India, INOX Wind has witnessed exponential growth in the last two years under his leadership. In a short span of two years, the company is amongst the top four wind turbine companies in India. Having commissioned projects on time successfully for some of India’s largest wind IPPs, corporates and a Government Navratna company, the company has carved out a solid position for itself in the market.
He has been spearheading the company since its inception in FY 2010. Under his supervision, INOX Wind, has obtained an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 3834 certification for its management systems pertaining to manufacturing, installation, commissioning and O&M of wind turbines. INOX Wind WTG’s are C-WET (part of MNRE) approved and Type Certified by TUV Sud.
Devansh comes with strong academic credentials. He has obtained a Double Major in Economics and Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. He is associated with several business fraternities and is a member of various organisations like Indian Wind Power Association (National Council Board Member), Wind Independent Power Producers Association, Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (Executive Committee Member), Indian Wind Energy Association, Entrepreneur’s Organization, (New Delhi Chapter), Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association (CMU) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
