Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Power Grid) has posted a net profit of Rs 1,229 crore for the third quarter of FY 2014-15 (October-December, 2014), an increase of 18 per cent against Rs 1,042 crore reported during the corresponding quarter of last financial year. Total Income for October-December, 2014 period rose to Rs 4,486 crore, up 18 per cent from Rs 3,799 crore in the year-ago period.
