Reserve Bank Governor Raghuram Rajan has said the apex bank is working with the Centre and state governments to revive distressed discoms. ´The government is fully cognizant of the problem as are we. We don´t intend to kick the can down the road as perhaps has been the unintended consequences of the past policies,´ Rajan said. He said there careful decisions are needed to put discoms back on track with healthy capital structures.
