Delhi Airport Metro Express Private Limited (DAMEPL), a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure has been awarded compensation of Rs 2,950 crore by a three member Arbitral Tribunal, a company statement said.
"The Award to RInfra has been granted on the basis of termination provisions of the Concession Agreement where the arbitration tribunal has held termination by DAMEPL as valid," Reliance Infra said.
The company sought compensation, after they terminated the contract with DAMEPL citing civil structure defect issues.
