For the electricity acquired in November 2022, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has released Rs 7.91 billion in payments to solar and wind power producers. Nearly 94.6% of the total amount paid by the nodal agency for the month was made up by the disbursal.
Compared to the payments paid in October, the amount is slightly less. In relation to power purchases, the agency has released Rs 8.04 billion.
In November, the agency distributed a total of 8.35 billion, which included payments for the procurement of solar and wind energy, reimbursements to developers, and duties.
The principal recipients of the payments in November were Azure Power Forty Three, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer, Wardha Solar (Maharashtra), Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Three, and Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Two.
The state-owned power distribution firms (DISCOMs), according to the Ministry of Power, paid down past dues totaling Rs 246.8 billion in four instalments.
