Skipper Limited, a renowned power transmission & distribution player, has announced new orders worth approximately Rs 405 crore in its Engineering Products segment.
In an announcement, the company shared the news of securing fresh new orders worth approximately Rs 405 crore for domestic transmission tower supply from Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd (PGCIL), Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TSTRANSCO) and Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PTCUL).
Commenting on the new orders, Sharan Bansal, Director, Skipper Limited, said, “We continue to strengthen our T&D order book. With growing Tariff Based competitive Bidding (TBCB), project volume, as well as the increased demand for transmission evacuation for renewable energy projects, we are seeing healthy demand from State Electricity Boards. Also since TBCB and renewable energy generation project timelines are shorter, there is increased focus on faster execution of transmission networks as well.”
Skipper Limited, established in 1981, is one of the leading companies in the Power Transmission & Distribution and Polymer Pipes & Fittings segment.
