SKS Microfinance has stated that it has concluded a securitisation deal worth Rs 215 crore. With this, the total sum of securitisation completed for FY14 is Rs 616.81 crore, the company said in a statement on December 19.
SKS has moved the receivables from micro loans extended to more than 2.50 lakh rural women entrepreneurs to a special purpose vehicle, and pass through certificates were purchased by a major private sector bank.
The entire pool qualified for priority sector treatment as per RBIÂ’s priority sector lending guidelines, he said.
