Along with state-owned Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), SmartE is in plans to set up charging infrastructure around metro stations. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between SmartE, Delhi Metro and PGCIL to set up charging infrastructure model and replicate it around metro stations. Besides, the model can also be used for large scale EV charging. While SmartE will look after providing world-class technology that can support mass e-rickshaw charging, land and power supply will be provided by other partners.
