Sterlite Transmission Projects has won the Rs 2,900-crore power transmission project, by far the biggest one to be awarded through the competitive bidding route in the country. The project involves the setting up of key transmission links across three western states. The tariff-based bidding process for the project was conducted by PFC Consulting.
