Japanese companies will build manufacturing facilities near Chennai. Japanese companies- Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ajinomoto and Takasago International Corporation are among the early players to enter into agreement with Ascendas and a Japanese consortium in setting up a 1,450-acre integrated industrial township, 50 km south of Chennai. Ascendas said that it has entered into agreements with the three companies to take up space at the township.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) approved the draft for the revised city development plan (CDP) for 2041 as per the central government mandate to receive funds under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). Adani, 17 others vie to operate Ahmedabad airport
Ahmedabad-based Adani Ports and SEZ is among the 18 companies in the race to operate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in the city. Along with Adani, the city-based Sadbhav Engineering and a host of other players including GMR, GVK, and Japan´s Toyota Tsusho India have filed the request for qualification (RFQ) document. On 19 November, officials of the Key Infrastructure Development (KID) cell of the Airport Authority of India held talks with representatives of 10 bidding companies
