In Arunachal pradesh, Sekong, a remote village under Lada circle in East Kameng district, has finally been connected by road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY). The 25-km road, leading to Sekong village from Richukrong, a remote circle, was constructed by the Rural Works Department, Seppa with an estimated cost of Rs 19 crore.

Union Minister for Rural Development JairamRamesh laid the foundation. The 157-km road, which will be built under the PMGSY will pass through the Namdapha National Park and is scheduled to be completed within the next three years.
