Using a new technology, called ´white topping,´the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) would construct the road from Lemon Tree hotel to Jalgaon T Point, that is 2.5 km long, in the city. AMC is introducing the technology for the first time in the city and Rs 3 crore has already been approved for construction of the road.

Aurangabad civic body to take up repairs on 18 roads
Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has stated that it would soon start construction of eighteen roads in the city. In the first phase, the municipal body will carry out repairing and resurfacing of these roads with an investment of Rs 15 crore.

Concreting a stretch of the road between Aurangabad railway station and Kranti Chowk in Aurangabad would be completed by the end of December, said Aurangabad civic authorities on October 14.

The construction of 2-km stretch between Aurangabad railway station and Kranti Chowk would be completed in the next one-and-a-half months, The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) which inspected the road work said on on October 4.
Road repairs sought in Aurangabad
Boards can be seen in Aurangabad on six roads, which say that maintaining or repairing the city roads is the responsibility of the State Public Works Department (PWD) and its not the task of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
Aurangabad’s roads, bridges to be widened
As part of its initiative to widen roads the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation has begun acquiring land around the Barapulla Gate on January 3. The land acquisition drive has been implemented to widen the roads and repair three existing bridges at Barapulla Gate, Makkai Gate and Mehmood Gate at a cost of Rs 13 crore.
