MEP Infrastructure Developers Limited has been given April 25, 2017, as the Appointed Date for its Hybrid Annuity project in Gujarat (the Talaja-Mahuva section) in accordance with the Concession Agreement executed with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The project is a part of the Bhavnagar-Veraval stretch.

Rs.1.71 lakh crore for projects
In a meeting with the Finance Ministry recently, some 27 state-owned banks have agreed to extend credit of around Rs 1.71 lakh crore to non-conventional energy projects over the next five years.
Consortium may lend Rs 7 bn to Dighi Port
A consortium of banks led by Bank of India would reportedly lend Rs 700 crore for the infrastructure project proposed to be carried out by Vijay Kalantri-promoted Dighi Port. The project, which is estimated to cost Rs 1,000 crore, includes setting up a new berth and road and rail infrastructure at the port. The remaining cost would be met by the promoters, reports indicate
Net profit of Bank of India rises 12% in Dec quarter
During October-December 2012, the net profit of state-run Bank of India rose 12 per cent to Rs 803 crore from Rs 716 crore in the year-ago period. The bank said it could not achieve a higher growth in net profit because of rise in provisioning and modest growth in advances
