The Tapti gas field, part of the Panna-Mukta-Tapti asset in the west coast of India, has started showing signs of a rapid early decline in output. According to the latest estimates, the field, which was earlier expected to produce till the end of the next financial year, might see production end by June.

GSPC, BG India for long-term LNG supply
Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) entered into a preliminary agreement with BG India, subsidiary of the BG Group, for the long-term supply of up to 2.5 million tonne per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The agreement will help GSPC bridge the widening demand-supply deficit, both in Gujarat and across India
