A private operator SkyFisher Airways, for the fist time, will soon operate small flights from Varanasi to three cities in Bihar. The service will start either by the end of this month or the first week of June. The 12-seater aircraft would make to and fro flights connecting Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Varanasi in its first phase, officials concerned said.

Bihar power corp to privatise distribution
Patna Electric Supply Undertaking (Pesu) has floated tenders to invite private players to bid for the distribution franchise in four towns of the state, including Patna. Bihar State Power Holding Company (BSPHCL) has completed the process of technical bidding for Muzaffarpur, Gaya and Bhagalpur towns as well.
