The Rs 2,686 crore Jabalpur-Bhopal road widening project in Madhya Pradesh received the approval of the Cabinet Committee for Economic Affairs recently. The 294-km road project would be taken up on a build-operate-transfer – (BOT-toll) basis. This means the project developer will invest in widening the road and collect toll revenues over the concession period.
