The re-laid roads in the past three years in Chennai city have already been damaged. Three years is the guarantee period of the contractors concerned and the re-laid roads are damaged within the guarantee period. Residents are complaining that when the north-east monsoon arrives in the city, condition of such damaged roads would be much worse. The Chennai Corporation has asked many contractors concerned to repair the roads that have been damaged. Patullas Road, which was completed in July 2012,
