New civil aviation policy in advanced stage
The proposed new civil aviation policy is under an advanced stage of preparation and the draft will be placed in the public domain for eliciting opinions, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati said in mid-September.The ministry will place the draft on the internet and seek suggestions and opinions from the public.
Private players should infuse Rs.50,000 cr
At present, the financial status of the aviation industry is not sound. We have to recognize the potential of the industry. India can be a proposed hub. In global aviation ranking, the Indian aviation sector stands at ninth position.
Panel for Air India´s performance
