Cochin Shipyard (CSL) recently delivered the sixth of the series of 20 Fast Patrol Vessels (FPV) being built for the Indian Coast Guard. The Protocol of delivery and acceptance was signed by Vinayakumar P, Director (Technical), on behalf of CSL and Commanding Officer (Designate) of the vessel Cmdt (JG) Umed Singh of Indian Coast Guard.

Cochin Shipyard commissions fast patrol vessel
Cochin Shipyard-built Aadesh vessel, the first of the series of 20 Fast Patrol Vessels (FPV) for the Indian Coast Guard, was commissioned in Kochi last week. Two ships of the class have been delivered to the Coast Guard and the third would also be delivered by the end of the month, the Cochin Shipyard said.
Bollinger to build another 6 Coast Guard cutters
In the US, the Bollinger Shipyards of Lockport has a $250.7 million contract for six more fast response cutters for the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard said in a news release on September 24 that it had ordered the cutters for delivery in 2016. They bring the total number of the boats under contract with Bollinger to 24, and the contract's total value so far to $1.1 billion.
