Orissa clears Rs 70 cr logistics park project
Orissa’s State level single window clearance authority has approved the setting up of a logistics park at Kalinga Nagar steel hub proposed by Container Corporation of India (CONCOR).The logistics park would come up on an area of 30 acres in the industrial cluster at an investment of Rs 70 crore.
Concor starts new services
Container Corporation of India (Concor) has started its container service from Bangalore to New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT). Concor will also start container train services from the inland container depot in Chennai to Karaikal port and Delhi.

The first double-stack container train between Mundra Port and Patli Inland Container Depot (ICD) in the National Capital Region (NCR) was flagged off on 21 October.The train was flagged off from Patli.
CONCOR service to Karaikal Port begins
The first train carrying shipping containers from the Tondiarpet facility, near Chennai, of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) reached the Marg Karaikal Port at Karaikal, 140 km from Puducherry, on 19 October.
