Coal India has almost achieved its e-auction target for the current fiscal, and is looking at offering additional supplies.
Rajasthan´s e-auction for 4 mining blocks soon
To consolidate Rajasthan´s position in the mining sector, the state government will soon conduct an e-auction of three limestone and a copper block. A pre-bidding conference was held earlier to this regard.

The allocation of coal blocks through e-auction is likely to take place in December as the Ministry of Coal has started preparing for the auction.
Ore quantity of e-auctioning is very megre for port
The Mormugao Port Trust in Goa could see an increase in its cargo as the Supreme Court allowing the e-auction of about 11 million tonne (mt) of iron ore mined in the state. However, this is just a fourth of about 40 mt of iron-ore cargo the port handled in its heydays.
Centre not to scrap e-auction
The coal minister has ruled out scrapping of e-auction of coal and indicated that any such move would increase the pithead stock.
