Elevated corridor ready for traffic in Nashik
In Nashik, the he 6.1-km elevated corridor on the Mumbai-Agra national highway is ready for vehicular traffic. However, at Adgaon Naka, where the flyover descends north of Dwarka junction on the highway, a patch of 150 meters on the service road is still not completed given the objection by its landlord who has been demanding compensation.
Delhi to have Vikaspuri-Meera Bagh elevated road
In Delhi, the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit inaugurated an elevated corridor from Vikas Puri to Meera Bagh on February 26. She had promised an elevated road to residents of Ayanagar. This corridor will be constructed at a cost of Rs 559.60 crore, including the construction of an elevated road from Vikaspuri to Meera Bagh.
Elevated corridor on Gurgaon’s MG Road set to get nod
The Gurgaon Municipal CorporationÂ’s proposed elevated corridor at Maharana Pratap Chowk, MG Road in the city is likely to get government's approval in a weekÂ’s time. The move is expected after a high level meeting in Chandigarh, recently. The MCG had sent a detailed project report (DPR) for the government's approval three months ago that met some objections from the top brass.
