Haryana seeks Centre’s nod for 4 new road projects
For four new mega projects of road network and sewerage system for Faridabad, the Haryana government has sought Centre's nod. The project work
is involving an estimated cost of Rs 495.13 crore. The approval has been sought under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). This was informed in second meeting of State-level Steering Committee on JNNURM chaired by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Chandigarh on August 1.

Govt plans to link Faridabad and Gurgaon with mono rail
Addressing a rally in Faridabad, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said he plans to set up mono-rail between the city and Gurgaon in order to give a fillip to the development of the area.
