In Chennai, Rs 43 crore has been allotted by the Tamil Nadu government for widening a small stretch of Grand Southern Trunk Road in Irumbuliyur, Tambaram. Lot of mishaps have taken place on the stretch. A Government Order to this effect from the Highways and Minor Ports Department was passed earlier this month.
