International experts on technologies and smart cities along with urban development officials from across India - constituting 600 cities, covering the100 smart cities and 500 AMRUT cities - came together at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre to participate in the National Conclave on Smart Technologies.

We need a central logistics council
Dr. Anwarul Hoda, Chair Professor of ICRIER's Trade Policy and WTO Research Programme, and former Planning Commission Member, chaired the Working Group on Logistics last year, and explains to Shashidhar Nanjundaiah the role of the Central Logistics Development Council, which the Group had recommended but is yet to see the light of day.
