Assembly passes resolution to name terminal after MGR

TN sanctions Rs 258 cr for road works
The Tamil Nadu government is to upgrade the road infrastructure in the state at a cost of Rs 258.42 crore. The State Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa said in a statement that the road projects include road repairs in Ariyalur and Perambalur districts at Rs 152.37 crore.
TN to spend Rs 82.33 cr for NH upgradation
A series of road projects have been announced by the Tamil Nadu Government on April 15, including upgradation activities. The State Highways and Minor Ports Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami told the State Assembly that Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had directed upgradation of 81.27 km of National Highways at an estimated sum of Rs 82.33 crore.
