Jharkhand govt takes up repairs on NH-33
The Jharkhand government has finally acted and taken up the repair of the busy and important National Highway-33 in the state, which is dotted with potholes. Prolonged protests have been demanding repair of the highway. Road construction agency Madhucom Projects resumed work on the road on October 22.

Jamshedpur’s key road project to begin on PPP model
In Jharkhand's Jamshedpur, the Eastern Road Corridor Project would soon begin on a public private partnership (PPP) with Jharkhand government and Tata Steel as participants. The State Chief Secretary RS Sharma, who chaired a high-level meeting comprising officials from both the State government and Tata Steel major in Ranchi, said the project should start soon in the industrial city to ease traffic with Ranchi and other neighbouring states, the release said quoting him.
