The new integrated terminal at Kolkata airport on April 4 was inspected by four officials from Airports Authority of India's planning department. Airlines oppose Kolkata airport’s revised charges
Airlines operating out of Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) airport are opposing the new charges that have been imposed on them. High charges of software and data system in the new terminal building of the Kolkata airport have deterred airlines from operating. The charges have not been implemented till date but would be implemented once the airlines shift to the new terminal building and start operating flights from there.
