J&K rural road network to get Rs 710 cr
For development of rural roads in Jammu and Kashmir the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on June 25 announced Rs 710 crore additional grants. The sum is for land acquisition for expansion and upgradation of rural road network in the state. Singh made the announcement after a meeting with the Council of Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir during which he reviewed the progress of various development projects, especially the Prime Minister's Reconstruction Programme.
PM to inaugurate Mughal Road on June 25
In Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to inaugurate the Mughal Road later this month. However, the work on the historical road project connecting Border Districts of Poonch and Rajouri with Kashmir is not fully complete. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the road on June 25.
PM asks SEBI to support fund flow to infrastructure
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) received a request from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to promote infra debt funds (IDFs) in order to boost funding to the infrastructure sector.
PM’s secretary tells officials in TN to speed up road projects

The Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been urged by the Madhya Pradesh government to resolve issues related to national highways, pending for a long time. Madhya Pradesh Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on January 28 appealed to the Prime Minister refund Rs 200 crore to the state spent by it on repairing and maintenance of national highways.
