Southern metropolitan city Chennai is likely to get two massive foot over-bridges , one across EVR Periyar Salai and the other in T Nagar. The existing foot over-bridges in Chennai are used for just about everything but crossing the road. At least 27 of the 32 foot over-bridges in the city are in a state of disrepair and littered with trash. Only few pedestrians dare use them.
