Sanjay Malhotra, a 1990 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS)’s Rajasthan cadre has assumed charge as Chairman & Managing Director, the Navratna non-financial banking company (NBFC) REC Ltd with effect from November 9. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) had approved Malhotra’s appointment.

Tamil Nadu joins UDAY, ‘Power for All’ gets a boost

Scindia seeks gas supply to power generation at lower rate
The Ministry of Power has submitted its views on the recently approved price formula for domestic gas, saying that a base price beyond 5$/mmbtu will be unviable for the power sector in the present context, said Minister of State for Power Jyotiraditya M.
