New buses to ply on Tricity roads
The Union Territory administration on May 23 decided to to focus on better transport for Tricity-Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali by replacing old buses with new ones and upgrading primary education with future population growth in mind. The progress of various projects was assessed at a meeting convened by UT administrator Shivraj Patil to discuss the schemes undertaken by the administration during the current financial year.
