Rs 10 crore has been approved by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC)for construction of 26 more bus stations for the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) in the PCMC area.

Mumbai h’way’s 2-km stretch in Pune to be concretised
In Pune, a 2-km stretch of the Pune-Mumbai highway from Phugewadi to Dapodi will soon be concretised along all eight lanes. The stretch, which falls in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limits, was widened earlier, but its concretisation work has not been completed. The PCMC has already concretised the 11-km highway stretch from Phugewadi to Nigdi.
Pimpri civic body to build 18 meter road in Kiwale
An 18 meter wide road will be constructed in Kiwale in Pimpri Chinchwad city at an expenditure of Rs 2.21 crore by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). A proposal seeking approval for the work will be tabled before the standing committee meeting to be held on November 20, said Makrand Nikam, Executive Engineer, PCMC.
