Potholes on the busy Bangalore-Mangalore highway's Shiradi Ghat stretch will be filled by January 31. Work of filling potholes has already started. The repair work will be carried out in a transparent mannerm, said the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Oscar Fernandes in Mangalore on December 30.

Only 52 potholes on 652 newly-built Mumbai roads: Report
Mumbai's 652 newly-constructed roads have only 52 potholes, SGS India private Ltd, a Switzerland - based third party auditor, has stated in its report submitted to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. In Srinagar, the Chana Pora-Ram Bagh motorway is getting more of potholes with each passing day as the State Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department has failed to take remedial measures.
