The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) got the green light from the Railways to build road overbridges (ROBs) at three central railway stations in Mumbai. This will help streamline traffic flow in the busy pockets of the suburbs. An officer of the BMC's Bridges Department said on June 28 that the railways has said that it would cooperate with the BMC to construct three bridges at Vidyavihar, Vikhroli and Nahur railway stations.

Ranchi-Delhi direct rail track to be ready by 2014
The Ranchi-Lohardaga-Tori railway line would be completed by 2014, says the Railways. The project has been delayed by a year. Once the rail tracks are laid completely it would facilitate faster route between Ranchi and New Delhi.
