Cairn India to invest $3 bn in Rajasthan asset till 2016
Between 2014 and 2016, Cairn India has planned a net capital investment of $3 billion in its Rajasthan oil and gas field, Chief Executive P Elango said in the company's annual report. By March 2014, Cairn India aims to raise crude oil production from the Rajasthan asset by as much as 23 per cent to 215,000 barrels per day
Nod to two-laning of Uniara-Gulabpura NH in Rajasthan
For two-laning with paved shoulders (PS) of a key highway in Rajasthan, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has given its approval. The project is the two laning of the Uniara-Nainwa-Hindoli-Jahajpur-Shahpura-Gulabpura section of NH-148D in the state under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase IV, on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. The cost is estimated to be Rs 774.33 crore.
CCEA likely to clear national highway project in Rajasthan
Under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-IV, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs is likely to accord final approval for development of a National Highway in Rajasthan soon. Final approval is likely for the selected sub-project approved by Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) for the development of two laning with paved shoulders of Uniara, Nainwa, Hindoli, Jahanpur, Shahpura, Gulabpura section of National Highway NH-148D in Rajasthan, sources said.
RINL to invest Rs 25 bn on iron ore project
State-run steel maker RINL plans to set up an iron ore beneficiation plant and a 2 million tonne pellet plant in Bhilwara, Rajasthan at a cost of Rs 2,500 crore. Through the proposed beneficiation plant, the company would make value addition of the iron ore mined from the block awarded to it by the Rajasthan government recently at Bhilwara. The value added output would be used at RINL's Vizag steel plant

IL&FS gets nod for three road projects
Concession agreements have been signed with the authorities concerned for three road projects in Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, IL&FS Transportation Networks has stated in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The road projects are: Kiratpur Ner Chowk section of NH 21 of 90.175 km in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
