The re-laid roads in the past three years in Chennai city have already been damaged. Three years is the guarantee period of the contractors concerned and the re-laid roads are damaged within the guarantee period. Residents are complaining that when the north-east monsoon arrives in the city, condition of such damaged roads would be much worse.
