Three roads in Delhi to be developed at Rs 41 cr
The Delhi government has cleared three road projects worth Rs 41 crore. The Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit sanctioned Rs 15.41 crore for strengthening of the road from Britania Chowk to Outer Ring Road in East Delhi. The road project will be completed within six months.
Delhi CM asks Ambani to supply power round-the-clock
The Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has asked Anil Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Infrastructure, which runs two power distribution companies, to take steps to 'rectify' the power outage problem in the city and ensure round-the-clock electricity supply. Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on March 2 stated on March 2 that the government has decided to improve all major road networks in rural areas including those in villages before the monsoon season. Dikshit said this after launching a road improvement project in Bawana area of North-West Delhi.
Delhi to have Vikaspuri-Meera Bagh elevated road
In Delhi, the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit inaugurated an elevated corridor from Vikas Puri to Meera Bagh on February 26. She had promised an elevated road to residents of Ayanagar. This corridor will be constructed at a cost of Rs 559.60 crore, including the construction of an elevated road from Vikaspuri to Meera Bagh.
Delhi CM inaugurates concrete road project in Gole Market
In Delhi, a project of concrete road for internal lanes of the Sector-II, DIZ area, Gole Market at MS Flats-Peshwa Road and J-Block, Mandir Marg was inaugurated by the Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The work of DIZ Sector-II has begun and will be completed by May, 2014.
