Mitsui OSK Lines roped in a salvage company to rescue the cargo and hulls of a 300-metre long container ship MOL Comfort, which broke into two parts mid sea about 530 nautical miles off Goa. Panel report makes suggestion to shipping ministry
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture suggested the union shipping ministry to allow the use of harmful paints by only commercial vessels.
