Four-laning of Jalandhar-P’kot h’way misses deadline again
Work on four-laning on the busiest Jalandhar-Pathankot national highway 1 has once again missed its deadline. Originally worth Rs 576 crore, the project — which has missed several deadlines in nearly five years — has seen an increase in construction cost by 30 per cent (Rs 750 crore).
Work goes on slow pace on Pune’s BRTS-II
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has implemented only 1.78 per cent of the total work of the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) phase II on 27 city roads since January last year, senior Congress corporator Aba Bagul said on October 31.
