S. Varadarajan is the Executive Director and Group CFO of VA Tech Wabag, an Indian multinational headquartered in Chennai with presence in 22 countries.
Varadarajan is an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with 24 years experience. He has been with VA Tech Wabag since inception for the last 15 years and is part of the Promoter Group of the company. Prior to Wabag, Varadarajan has worked in ONGC and Bharat Electronics.
Varadarajan received the “CFO 100” award from the CFO Institute consecutively for two years (2011 & 2012). CFO India magazine in June 2012 edition carried his Cover Story.
Varadarajan is an amateur musician trained in Classical music. He had given his violin concerts in some of the Sabhas in Chennai and in television.
