Ather Energy’s Hosur facility, developed by TVS ILP on a built-to-suit model, now delivers one vehicle every 0.46 seconds. It is powered by integrated logistics and real-time visibility tools that streamline distribution across India.
As India’s festive season kicks into gear, TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) is scaling operations at its Hosur facility to support electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy in meeting surging demand across Tier II and III cities.
Developed on a built-to-suit (BTS) model and delivered within record timelines, the Hosur facility has become a strategic node in Ather’s supply chain. The site enables a production rate of one vehicle every 0.46 seconds, with integrated logistics and real-time visibility tools supporting pan-India distribution.
“The festive season has always been a period of strong momentum for the auto industry, and we are seeing the same play out for EVs,” said Sanjeev Kumar Singh, COO, Ather Energy. “TVS ILP’s tech-enabled solutions have enabled timely, cost-effective expansion.”
To manage seasonal peaks, TVS ILP is enhancing EV charging infrastructure, optimising space at Ather’s battery manufacturing plant, and offering value-added services such as inventory management and last-mile coordination. The facility’s proximity to key transport corridors further strengthens delivery timelines.
“At TVS ILP, our focus is on enabling clients to scale efficiently during critical periods like the festive season,” said Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP. “We design infrastructure that supports surge manufacturing, inventory expansion, and seamless distribution.”
The partnership reflects a broader shift in India’s logistics landscape, where industrial parks are evolving into enablers of sustainable growth. With GST 2.0 reforms on the horizon and rising EV adoption, TVS ILP’s integrated network is helping brands stay ahead of demand while reducing their carbon footprint.
As consumption peaks and mobility preferences shift, Hosur is fast emerging as a hub for India’s e-mobility ambitions, powered by smart infrastructure and collaborative innovation.
